Forest for Mongolia

2023 Recap

19. 1. 2024

Are we looking forward to a better tomorrow? Looking back on this year in Mongolia, it seems that almost everything we set out to do has been successful.

???? We successfully presented several Czech universities and forestry companies, prepared Mongolian versions of Czech forest games and introduced forest pedagogy.
???? We presented scientific results at several workshops and a conference.
???? We continued with the planting of new forests, science and research and the implementation of other demonstration plots for lecturing.
???? We collaborated with new students and exchanged experiences with new foresters.
???? We taught sustainable forestry practices and, for example, tree climbing.
???? We organized a study tour to the Czech Republic for Mongolian foresters and academics.
???? We coordinated the education of Czech forestry students in Mongolia and Mongolian ones in the Czech Republic.
???? We introduced the Czech hiking trail marking system, trained the first local trail markers and opened the first official hiking trail.

And that's still not all. We met a lot of new great people and made new friends. We would like to thank everyone who was a part of this. It wouldn't be possible without you! Let the next year of Czech-Mongolian cooperation be at least as successful as the last one.
