Forest for Mongolia

Visit of Mongolian partners to the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of MENDELU

On 11.5.2017 we received a delegation from Mongolia at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology.

In a very pleasant atmosphere, representatives of the Mongolian government, embassy and higher education met with representatives of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of Mendel University in Brno and students. We discussed the ongoing LDF research in Mongolia, important results of our research, the potential for further cooperation and other interesting topics.

The meeting was attended on behalf of the Mongolian side by:

- Tserendorj Batbayar - Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia
- Amartuvshin Norov - Attaché of the Economic Department of the Mongolian Foreign Office in Prague
- MSc. Uuganbayar Chuluunbaatar and MSc. Magsarjav Erdenebat - academic staff from Mongolian University of Live and Science, who are currently involved in the project of People in Need "Cooperation of Czech and Mongolian universities on understanding interactions between farm and wild animals."
